Beyblade – Anime Review

Have you ever watched an anime because you wanted to know more about a character in the show? I watched the first ark of Beyblade after catching a picture of Kai and wanting to know his backstory. The show is based on teams competing in Beyblade battles, which reminds me of a combination between spinning tops and pongs.

March Comes in Like a Lion – Review

Being an avid anime fan, many anime viewers are familiar with the historical classics such as Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragonball Z, and Pokemon. I decided to review March Comes in Like a Lion, to offer readers an anime that isn’t well-known. I wanted to suggest an anime that is both fantasy and paranormal.

Code Geiss Review

What if there was a power that allowed you to change the world? To hear people’s thoughts, change their emotions or memories? To make them obedient without question? For those gifted with the power of Geass, these powers are both a blessing and a curse.

Inuyasha Review

Luna introduced me to the classic comedic anime Inuyasha, thinking I would enjoy the comedic nature between the characters and its use of time travel. The show equally balances both the present world in Tokyo, Japan and Japan's Sengoku Period. Many consider Inuyasha one of the classic animes, given how popular the anime became in the United States, earning a second installment to the series titled Inuyasha: The Final Act to show the rest of the manga written by Rumiko Takahashi.

Full Metal Alchemist Review

One of the classic animes that focuses on brotherly love and their journey to discover a legendary treasure, The Philosopher’s Stone, is Full Metal Alchemist. The Elric brothers push the boundaries of science and magic by using alchemy, hoping to defy the governing law of equivalent exchange with The Philosophers Stone.

Bleach: Guardian of Souls

Cartoon Network used to run anime shows after midnight on a series called Toonomie. One show that I watched was Bleach by Tite Kubo is an action drama about a soul reaper substitute named Ichago. The series focuses on a society that is tasked with collecting the souls of the dead and the souls that go dark with the intentions of attacking those in the human world.
