Spider-Man is a huge iconic character within the Marvel Universe appearing in numerous Marvel comics and was added to the Marvel’s cinematic universe (MCU) by being introduced in Marvel’s Avengers: Civil War in 2016. Many Spider-Man fans have accepted the third attempt of bringing the character to the big screen after Sam Raimi and Marc Webb adaption of the character.
In an age where numerous comic book franchises are adapted for the big screen Fantastic Four is no exception. Fantastic Four tells the tale of a family of superheroes, whose quest to discovering science grants them powers. Exploring how far some will go in the pursuit of power and knowledge.
The exposure of super heroes continues through animation and Disney studios. After the success of The Incredibles, Disney decided to continue the theme with Big Hero 6. Inspiration for the film, came from the Marvel Comic, Big Hero 6 created by Man of Action. After the film’s commercial success, the film became adapted to an animated series with the same name through The Disney Channel in 2014.
Many people were introduced to three of the Norse Gods. Thor, Odin, and Loki through the adaption of Marvel’s comic, Thor in 2013. The film lightly touches on the Gods but fails to go into detail of the mythology behind the characters. It is a good way to introduce those unfamiliar with Norse mythology to the characters, but additional research required to fully appreciate their roles in history.
